Save the houseboat.

I have had a grandfathered mooring for houseboat in tidal waters for the last 11 years in the Androscoggin River. But because of a new law I have had to remove it from the water. I have always followed the law and restrictions placed on me by the state and town as well as the Army Corps of Engineers. No one can explain to me if I am in federal jurisdiction or state jurisdiction.
We have been on this body of water for 11 years and have done nothing but help clean it up. We are asking for help to get the houseboat back on the river next summer.

Why is this important?
Almost everyone is in favor of what we have been doing out there and I have been told that it brings much happiness to many, many people. It has become a summer highlight to see the houseboat on the river for hundreds of people who travel Route One through Brunswick.
