The community and Alameda Unified School District want the cell companies to shut off and remove the cell antennas from our schools. California Education Code section 17534 limits such contracts to five years, but under the contracts, the cell companies have the sole discretion to stay or go for 25 to 30 years. We don't know what the harms to growing children may be, but we don't think it is worth the risk.

Vehicles exceed the posted speed limit of 25 mph in residential neighborhoods, typically traveling at 40 to 45 mph, and sometimes higher. What is the purpose of posting speed limits if they are not regularly enforced? Children and pets reside in Berlin's residential communities. Will it take the death of a child for you to take action on speeders, who are threatening the lives of children, pedestrians, bicyclists, and family pets? Please do something about speeding in residential areas.

We, the undersigned, are requesting that you vote no on the proposal to rezone traditional grazing lands to commercial property for the proposed Valencia Speedway on Highway 6, 10 miles west of I-25. A speedway would bring traffic, noise, night lights, and dust into Valencia County's West Mesa communities. Additionally, the wholesale removal of 30 acres of natural vegetation will contribute to the continuing degradation of the Rio Puerco rangelands, a significant regional resource.

Any Company, Business, Individual or subsidiary thereof manufacutring or employing people outside the US shall sign a manditory pledge to bring those jobs and all related activities back to the US over a four period with no less than 25% per year and there by keeping the present tax level they have today. If they don't pledge they go back to Pre-Regan tax rates. No middle ground either in our out.

Poultry workers around the country are fighting for safer working conditions in an already incredibly dangerous workplace. As of June 30th, at least 25 Tyson workers have died from COVID-19, and outbreaks continue to occur at Tyson plants across the country. Workers have to choose between coming into work while sick or staying home and going without a paycheck. Tyson needs to do more to protect its workers!

The National Park Service is proposing a big increase in entrance fees for some of the country's most beloved wild places. In some cases, the cost to enter a park by vehicle would rise to $70 - from a current amount of $25 or $30. These changes would affect the most popular parks in the country, including Acadia, Grand Canyon, Olympic, Shenandoah, Yellowstone, and Yosemite. Tell the National Park Service not to raise entrance fees!

Sixteen killed, including an American student and her husband. Second attack on this embassy in seven months. Listen to the voters and let us vote! Camden, Rockport, and Hope residents voted strongly against the divided Midcoast Solid Waste board recommendation of leaving the nonprofit coalition of 187 towns to which we currently belong. We believe in the Municipal Review Committee's vision and plan for a more sustainable and less costly waste disposal plan and we want a chance to vote on their proposal of sending our waste to Fiberight, a company that uses European technology (mechanical biological treatment) to recycle and recover more of the material left in our waste stream.

We, the people of California, demand relief on our home mortgages. We demand the loan modifications promised by the California state attorney general, Kamala Harris, NOW! The people can no longer wait. We demand financial relief now and we demand that Kamala Harris declare a moratorium on all foreclosures in the state of California until all of us troubled homowners get the loan modifications that we were promised from the $25 billion settlement. We demand immediate action NOW!
