Please support the Paid Family Leave Insurance Act. Working New Yorkers need the security of paid leave to care for a new child or seriously ill family member. Improve the health and financial stability of working families by providing all New Yorkers with paid family leave for a full 12 weeks.

All past and present contracts with Congressmen made null and void on 1/1/12; required to retroactively participate in the social security system as it now exists; receive no tenure and no pension; pay raises may only be voted by referendum, by state constituents; must obtain and pay for their own health care coverage.

Dear Gov. Quinn, Please sign executive orders for an emergency moratorium on fracking and Class ll disposal wells in the active earthquake zones of Southern IL. At the same time set up an independent investigative task force consisting of seismologists/geologists with expertise in frackquakes. - Both horizontal drilling with high pressure fracking and deep injection well disposal of frack waste water induce earthquakes. - Not all of the frackquakes have been small; Oklahoma experienced a 5.7 magnitude frackquake in Prague in 2011 - damaging 14 buildings and injuring 2 people. - The New Madrid, Wabash Valley, Ste. Genevieve and Cottage Grove active fault zones are not appropriate places for dangerous fracking! - Even frequent small frackquakes can damage peoples homes and their psyches, they never know when a "big one" is going to hit. Folks who bought homes want to stop Anonymous Foreclosure Sales from Banks who sales homes without giving their Identity or proper Identification. This should not be permitted by from Bank owner. When a bank sales a foreclosure home and that home has not been properly been identify for sale by the Bank who is the right owner will give buyer allot of grief and lost their possessions if they have to leave fast or they be thrown out of those homes. The buyer won’t have any rights to the home because of the violation of ownership or other problem. People need to make sure that those Banks who sale or buy homes foreclosure should receive a court mandate requiring the Banks to properly Identify themselves with all the require bank ownership permitting buy or sell properties from the appropriate Housing Authorities or other legal assistants in buying or selling the premises on any home that they own or buy. The Banks who are selling any Homes that are in Foreclosure should have proper Identification documents .There should not be any foreclosure Bank Homes sold without proper Identification, from the Banks responsible for selling those homes. Columbia University is planning to implement a Plaza by shutting down the 2 block distance of street from 168th to 169th and Haven Avenue in Washington Heights. Also claims that there is nowhere to hold events (indoor/outdoor) doesn't make sense when right across the street the community has been restricted from accessing the 2-acre large city-owned building (Ft. Washington Armory) which is supposed to be that space! We are also surrounded by parks.
