Ban Conibear / Body Grip Traps in NH

Two years ago, Governor Chris Christie and the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) forced massive cuts in income for New Jersey's toll operators, resulting in a 30% cut in their annual income. Now, Governor Christie and the NJTA are pushing for a privatization plan that would lay off and privatize as many as 800 jobs.

Eliminate retirement benefits for members of Congress who do not complete 20+ consecutive years in office. Minimize the pension received by those members of Congress who have completed 20+ years in office. Remove any "double-dipping" for those members of Congress who are receiving any other government pension.

Please protect the 50 million Americans who under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act who are for the first time able to obtain insurance and healthcare. Defend the PPACA and improve it with a strong Medicare-like public option

The University of San Francisco wants to clear the tree buffer of two mature, healthy Monterey Cypress trees at the end of Hemway St. This dead end street could become easy campus access to their open space baseball field. Removing the trees would literally pave the way to development! Ulrich Field has been evaluated in the past as a potential site for an underground parking structure, with a field or other uses on top. When USF was looking for a place to put a new residence hall, the 2012 Master Plan concluded: The main benefit that Ulrich Field offers for new development is that it is a large, level site at street level. This however might equally be considered a drawback as the flow of traffic, both by car and foot, would increase in the immediate neighborhood. Ulrich Baseball Field is also bordered on three sides by residential properties: residences on Hemway and Atalaya Terraces to the south, residences on the east side of Masonic Avenue, and residences on the north side of Golden Gate Avenue. Therefore, in the context of potential impacts on nearby neighbors, the University concluded that this site…would be the least desirable. That's our neighborhood!

We are concerned that the President and the Executive Branch have failed to control the NSA's repeated and ongoing intrusions into the private communications and medical and financial records of U.S. citizens. As evidence of our concern, we are adding to our e-mail signatures the following line: "When you write please keep in mind that, although it is illegal, the NSA will be reading your message to me and mine to you."

We, the undersigned, petition Chase Financial to allow the Butterfield family to stay in their home by canceling the sheriff sale of their house and re-negotiating their mortgage. The Butterfields fell behind on their house payments due to an unforeseen medical emergency. We find it unconscionable that Chase would evict a family that has a special needs child and had to endure a medical emergency, rather than working with the family to keep them in their home. We taxpayers paid out hundreds of billions of dollars to bail out the banking industry--it's time they used some of that money for the benefit of the people!

Change the USG's policy regarding academic renewal to include any school in the United States, not only the university where the GPA was accumulated.

Draft and sign an Executive Order to designate all federal agencies as National Voter Registration Act (NVRA, aka the "Motor Voter Act") agencies for purposes of voter registration. This is a power allowed under the letter of the law.
