  • Immediately Arrest The Black panthers involved in putting a hit on George Zimmerman and all who d...
one race targeting another race. Also bring it down to basics its murder for hire, conspiracy to commit murder, etc. Anyone else in America would have been arrested immediately for this. This is a criminal act and they must be brought to justice. Ever since this has happened the Zimmerman family has had to go into hiding and they have been subject to threats and intimidation. Even zimmermans unrelated to George Zimmerman have had to change their residence in order to protect themselves.

  • Reduce Bottled Water Usage
Bottled water is taken out of the water cycle. Bottled water is found as litter on the ground. The bottles are petroleum products. Let’s reduce our bottled water usage because in the United States we have clean tap water.

  • Open Mecklenburg County Hair Salons
Allow a licensed beauty professional in Mecklenburg County the CHOICE to perform a beauty service privately with one client per stylist (wearing mask) as of May 9, 2020. All necessary precautions and sanitation protocols approved and required by the state of North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners will be followed. Servicing one client at a time, while wearing masks and gloves poses little to no risk of spreading Covid-19 as compared to the amount of people allowed in grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants for takeout and retail stores that are still operating.

  • UCSC Chancellor Blumenthal: Stop the Parking Fee Hikes
For the past several years, the TAPS department at UC Santa Cruz has been deteriorating under the direction of Director Larry Pageler. The Director has made little to no effort to improve the department, only needlessly beefing up middle-management while leaving the department understaffed and overworked. Now, the TAPS department is planning to raise the parking fees by 12% on July 1st when our members are scheduled to receive their modest 3% pay increase. These planned fee hikes are on top of the recent tuition hikes and crippling low wages at UCSC. The result is university employees not being able to afford to come to work. This must end! UCSC cannot continue to be a catalyst for poverty. We call on you Chancellor Blumenthal to stop further penalizing students and workers at UCSC with parking fee increases. Put an end to the parking fee hikes!

  • VOTE NO HB 1212
I do not support HB 1212 and think as an elected official you should value the Louisiana state constitution and withhold support of this bill. If passed it would change the state constitution and the more than 100-year-old Lawrason Act. Why change it now? Why do the citizens of the proposed St. George area deserve to be treated differently than those who incorporated in the past? Why should the whole parish have a say in St. George but not in any incorporation efforts that came before this one? Why should the whole parish get a vote on this issue when they were not included in the CATS tax vote because of city limit boundaries? It is not your job to support agendas but to support the Constitution!
