My petition is to find viable candidates for District 27 of Florida to defeat Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and for District 25 to defeat Mario Diaz-Balart in the next election in 2014. An unknown, without political experience and without funds or a campaign obtained 36.8 of the vote against Ros-Lehtinen. Diaz-Balart ran against two candidates with NO party affiliation and without a democrat opponent. Both of these candidates should be contested by a MoveOn.org candidate. I’m willing to work as a volunteer in either of these campaigns.

Please co-sponsor the Government By the People Act, which would: -Give small-dollar candidates a fighting chance against Super PACs and dark money groups who flood the airwaves in the final days of an election; -Amplify my voice by matching my small contributions 6-1 or more—so it pays for candidates to listen to me and not just wealthy interests; and -Help me invest in candidates who care about my priorities and get $25 back at tax time.

"Be it resolved that every person who is gainfully employed or enrolled in school for a minimum of 25 hours per week, shall be eligible to apply for a state driver's license and/or a photo ID in the USA, if desired. All gainfully employed persons who are not citizens, will be provided a work permit for as long as they are employed. Their spouse and children, if any, will also receive legal status. After a period of not less than two years of employment, a person may apply for citizenship according to the rules currently enforced by the INS."

On the afternoon of Oct. 25, 2011, Mara Randle, a substitute teacher in the Oakland School District, a student in a Master of Education Program who is pursuing her teacher credential, was beaten and arrested by Oakland Police Department officers. Mara was peacefully participating in an afternoon rally to protest the eviction of Occupy Oakland from the city hall plaza. Mara was not guilty of any illegal act, never been arrested. She will not plead guilty and is willing to go to trial to exonerate her name and reputation.

We, the neighbors of the Capital Plaza Walmart, oppose the store’s expansion into a 24-hour SuperStore. We are concerned that this expansion would only exacerbate the problems caused by the existing store and not contribute to re-development of the 450 Corridor, which is an important economic development plan for the region and county. When Walmart opened the store in 2008, they promised the surrounding communities that they would be a good neighbor and provide good jobs, a high-quality retail operation in a safe and clean environment, crime prevention in the parking lot and store, and maintain clear communication with the community. This has not been our experience. Walmart also claimed they would bring economic benefits to our community, but failed to live up to that promise as well. This store has been the site of employee protests about wages, lack of access to benefits, and working conditions. We ask that you, Councilwoman Dannielle Glaros and the Prince George's County Council, stand with your constituents in opposition to this Walmart expansion and advocate for a positive, community-oriented development at Capitol Plaza Mall in Landover Hills, Maryland on this 39 acre parcel. A 24-hour Super Walmart on the 450 Corridor is not in line with our vision for our community or county.

A Constitutional Amendment to: 1. Establish a general election for US President, Senate and House of Representatives to be held once every 6 years. 2. President, Senate and House of Representatives member, representing their country or states or districts, respectfully, would ALL be elected ONCE every 6 years and ALL for 6 years terms. 3. US citizen(s) elected to the US Presidency, Senate and House of Representatives would be ineligible to run for or be appointed to any of the 3 respective branches of the federal government for a period of 6 years following their initial 6 years term(s) or any future 6 years term(s). Successive terms are forbidden. 4. Maximum years any US citizen shall hold any position in the 3 respective branches of the federal government shall be 24 years or four non-successive terms. 5. Those US citizens that have held a position in any one of the three respective branches of the federal government prior to the ratification of this amendment may run for US President, Senate or The House of Representatives at the first general election. But their years serving as US President or Senator or Member of the House of Representatives shall count against their 24 years of eligibility as described in #4 above.

We are petitioning the Washington State Government to make vaccines mandatory for all K-12 Washington school children, except for those with specific medical conditions or those members of religious organizations which expressly disallow medical interventions. This would eliminate "Personal Belief Exemptions," which are used to opt out of vaccines for non-medical reasons.

This a position on the "War on Drugs" that I have heard for years from people on both side of the issue. 12% off our prison population are incarcerated because of marijuana drug laws. We are funding cartels threw our drug laws. Prohibition didn't stop the use of alcohol when we tried it, why would it work for this drug.

PA House Bill 683 was referred to your committee Feb. 12, 2013 It will limit whistle-blowing, and keep the public unaware of food safety problems, animal abuse and poor/dangerous working conditions on factory farms. It's benefit to our food safety and farm workers is unclear. Please voted NO on HB683. Thank you for your time.
