Out of 9 Million people living and working in New York, it is unfathomable that there isn’t another person qualified for this job and who has rightly earned it. I’ve read about the high levels of PFOAs found in New Jersey’s water, and am seriously concerned about how this dangerous toxin will harm my family’s health and the health of people across our state. We’ve got to take action to fix our drinking water. I strongly support the limits set out in the “Health Effects Subcommittee Report: Health-Based Maximum Contaminant Level Support Document: Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA),” and urge the Institute to move forward with these recommendations.
