  • Support HB 3718 to Increase the Minimum Wage for All Workers
Raising the minimum wage is sound policy for employees, employers and the state. Raising the minimum wage increases consumer demand by putting more money in the pockets of hardworking Illinoisans' which increases consumer demand. Low wage workers are becoming a vital part of our economy. The largest sector of low wage workers are those within the restaurant industry. There are 500,000 restaurant workers in the State of Illinois. Over 75% of restaurant workers are low wage workers making $4.95 or 60% of the minimum wage. Tipped workers value their work and stay within the industry. These workers are not teen workers wanting to make money on the side but adults trying to support themselves. Over 60% of restaurant workers are over the age of 25 and have education higher than a high school diploma. Not allowing all workers to make a livable wage stifles the growth of our state. Elected officials must move legislation that supports growth.

  • Fast Food Industry: We're Not Going to Take it Anymore
We have a huge economic problem in this country. It's you and the rest of the fast food industry. Together, your restaurants employ millions of people. Millions of people, mostly adults, who can't afford rent if they want to eat. Who can't afford health care if they want to pay their bus fare. Millions of people, and more than 25% of them are parents who can't afford school supplies if they have to buy school shoes. Last year your combined profits were $7.35 billion. Yet you still paid most of your workers less than $11,200 a year – poverty wages. It’s shameful. And outrageous. We're speaking out together because it has to change. We’re rising up as Americans to say it's no longer a matter of WHETHER you will raise wages; it's a matter of WHEN. Your companies can do this right now – you have the power to raise wages for your workers today.

  • #justiceforlendonandkalen
On May 1st 2021, Lendon Byram and his girlfriend Kalen Hart were killed in a motor vehicle accident on their way to prom. Another couple in the car were injured as well. Lendon was found to have come to a complete stop prior to pulling into the intersection. The vehicle that hit Lendon and Kalen was traveling 25 mph above the speed limit posted for that road. The driver was only sited a speeding ticket due to the lack of a law that states that the driver of any vehicle traveling at an unlawful speed shall forfeit any right of way which he / she might have otherwise. This is a law in several states including Virginia which is Code 46.2-823 - Unlawful Speed Forfeits Right Of Way. Indiana’s law must be changed to acknowledge lives injured and lost due to reckless driving related to unlawful rates of speed. Please help support this cause so that there will be #justiceforlendonandkalen.

  • Free, high-quality, N95 masks for all!
Here we are, two years into the worst public health crisis in more than 100 years. As you read this, the number of COVID-19 cases is skyrocketing to levels far greater than at any point in the crisis. Hospitalizations are on the rise. The United States — just 4 percent of the world’s population — once again accounts for almost 25% of the world’s coronavirus cases. And here is what we do know: Masks work. Every credible scientist tells us that wearing masks is critical to saving lives and stopping the spread of COVID-19. We also know that not all masks are created equal. N95 masks are far more effective than cloth masks in preventing the spread of COVID.  That is why I am urgently calling for a simple and inexpensive way to protect Americans as the pandemic surges in state after state in this country: N95 masks for all. Add your name to my petition if you agree.

  • Hold Catholic Memorial High School Accountable for Unjust Polices and Stop the Donations Now!!!!!!
The Issue Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha, Wisconsin has a written policy that states they will cooperate and assist U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) federal agents, even without a warrant ordering them to do so.  This rash and divisive policy puts the livelihood of staff and students at risk, subjugating them to the possibility of ICE agents interfering with education and worship to investigate, detain, or arrest students and staff without a warrant, or knowledge of local law enforcement agencies.  Here’s the law : Schools must comply with a judicial warrant signed by a federal or state judge. The warrant must explicitly identify the specific school location and the individuals or records being sought. Schools are not required to comply with an administrative warrant, which is issued by an immigration officer, not a judge. If ICE wants to interview a student, schools should obtain appropriate parental consent before allowing it. Schools can deny entry to non-public areas like classrooms and offices unless a judicial warrant is presented or the school gives explicit consent.  https://www.ilrc.org/community-resources/protecting-children-schools-against-immigration-enforcement https://www.aclupa.org/news/schools-must-protect-students-and-follow-law-if-ice-shows/ CMH high school should act within the confines of State and Federal law when in question with Federal Agents. Without this, students and staff are at a risk of unlawful detainment and detention— as we have seen all over this country.  On October 20th, 2025, Catholic Memorial High School terminated social studies teacher Rico Camacho, who serves as an Alderman for the City of Waukesha. Camacho shared a photo on Facebook in which residents had assumed ICE agents were in Waukesha. The post was later proven to be false, and therefore, Camacho took accountability, responsibility, and publicly apologized. The freeman capitalized on this story, which later, Catholic Memorial used to terminate Camacho’s teaching contract, based on discrimination for one of their teachers mentioning ICE, privately on social media. The City of Waukesha’s City Attorney stated that Camacho acted as a private resident, and the post was not tied to his work as an Alderman. Camacho did not reference his occupation or employer in the post, and Catholic Memorial on their own, ruled to terminate Camacho just days after the Freeman’s multiple stories flooded local news. We are asking that you stop all donations to the is unjust school now!!!! We want to let all Catholic Memorial families know that Catholic Memorial has policies in place that don't protect our children.  Finally, we are demanding a public apology from Catholic Memorial High School for the discriminatory and wrongful termination of Rico Camacho.  Sign this petition, and ask Donors to stop their donations immedietly due to the dangerous enviornment their students may be a part of.

  • End Greene County’s Contract with ICE: Stop the Detention of Immigrants in Our Local Jail
We the people call on the Missouri Greene County Commissioners and Sheriff’s Office to: 1. Immediately terminate any existing agreements with ICE for the housing or detention of immigrant  detainees in Greene County Jails; 2. Cease all future collaboration with ICE that involves the use of county jail space or law enforcement personnel; and  3. Commit to policies that protect, rather than endanger, the rights and dignity of all residents regardless of immigration status. We urge our elected officials to uphold the values of justice, compassion, and responsible governance.  Ending Greene County’s cooperation with ICE is a critical step toward making our county a safer, fairer,  and more inclusive place for everyone.

  • Investigate the FBI and FBI Director Kash Patel
Update 4/20/26: New allegations have surfaced of more than two dozen current and former officials describing “excessive drinking” and unexplained absences interfering with Patel’s ability to carry out his duties. Patel has continued to face growing scrutiny for his use of taxpayer-funded travel and conduct outside official duties, using government aircrafts for personal travel and leisure activities, including trips to sporting events and private destinations. We demand an investigation immediately into Patel’s ethical violations. ——————————————————————— Trump’s defiance of constitutional separation of powers and attacks on the judiciary just took an even darker turn. Today, the FBI arrested Hannah Dugan—a sitting judge in Wisconsin. The charge? Allegedly obstructing ICE’s arrest of an immigrant in a courthouse. Kash Patel took to Twitter/X to post about it, only to delete it minutes later. This arrest of a sitting judge is a chilling escalation in the regime’s abuse of law enforcement, like ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) as a political tool.  Kash Patel was appointed earlier this year by Trump to be a loyalist through and through, even if it means completely disregarding the law. During Biden’s administration, ICE wasn’t permitted to make arrests at churches, schools, or places of worship. Once Trump took office, he ruthlessly revoked these guidelines. And now, the administration is going after sitting judges to dismantle any remaining guardrails around their mass deportation policies. We need to hold the FBI Director and the FBI accountable!

  • Indiana for Decriminalizatoin of Marijuana, 420 Legislation
Indiana Governor Indiana Senate Indiana State House It is understood that while marijuana has been essentially illegal since 1937, the prohibition of this plant has not worked. There have been studies done that prove it has medical uses, if it didn't then the synthetic drug Marinol would not exist. It has also been proven that in recreational use it does less harm than alcohol. Please look at how much our government spends on trying to fight something that is of no threat to our society. Realize how many other ways that money could be spent to make this a stronger country. Also, look into how much more money the country would make through taxation, as it does with alcohol and tobacco. Don't be afraid to stand up and say this to your fellow politicians. We the people, your constituents, are asking you to do this for us and for our State/state Sincerely,
