They couldn’t beat Tim Kaine or President Obama in 2012—so they changed the rules. I call on Governor McDonnell to reject this divisive action taken by Senate Republicans. If he does not, I will do everything within my power to fully support a law suit to overturn this unconstitutional power grab."

  Being in a local band is tough. It's sometimes hard to navigate through the entertainment world, and it's even more difficult when you are unsigned. The abundance of talent in Chicago, and it's surrounding suburbs needs their chance to be heard!   The other day, we were caught in the act of marketing. That picture was posted to the River, and their social media. The same thing happened last year from QRock. After creating 3 months worth of memes; we were able to get on their station, and they now have a local hour. The hour highlights artists from all over the suburbs. We want a similar avenue with the River. Help us open that pathway between bigger radio, and locals. 

The employees who work downtown in New Orleans should not have to pay to park. Sometimes the price of parking can be more than what some people make in a day if business is slow. It’s not fair to us to have to pay taxes on what we earn and also have to pay to park to get to the place we have to get to, to earn our money. I’ve had way too many tickets that eventually adds up to other expenses that the money could’ve went to. Instead,  after paying about $13 to park for 4 hours, then have another 4 hours to go is ridiculous to be honest. Don’t let me forget to extend the parking because then I’ll have a $30 ticket in addition that that. Employees, in the service industry especially, can find it hard to keep track of time if we’re busy to pay to extend parking. Please have some grace for us as we are helping the city and businesses make money by coming thru traffic, construction zones, and so much more to provide exceptional customer service to keep people coming to our diverse and unique city. The same way our disabled brothers and sister have a tag that allows special parking, is the same way employees can have a tag or sticker to place in our car while at work to let the officers know that we are rightfully able to park in certain spot for free.

Rep. Ciscomani was elected to represent a major share of Tucson, but he hasn't held a town hall in Tucson since being elected. We want to see, hear, and question our Representative. We deserve no less.

We all know where our local post office is... as the postal service downsizes, and post offices close, these buildings should be refitted as health clinics a la "minute clinic" health offices that have been so successful for CVS. The Federal Government could open clinics to serve medicare and medicaid recipients exclusively, or it could serve the general public.

Petition to the Board of Supervisors of New Garden Township regarding proposed Conditional Use Application of Eco-Site, LLC for a communications tower on PROPERTY at 1511 Yeatmans Station Road We the undersigned, being residents and taxpayers of New Garden Township and London Britain Township, oppose the construction of a communications tower on a property owned by Anthony J. and Renee L. Santoro located at 1511 Yeatmans Station Road. We recognize that the White Clay Creek Preserve, part of the park system of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, is a pristine natural resource possessing outstanding scenic, wildlife, recreational and cultural value; and further recognize that the White Clay Creek flows through the Preserve and, because of the Creek’s exceptional value, has been designated by the United States Congress as a National Wild and Scenic River. Our federal and state tax dollars have contributed to the preservation of the Preserve and New Garden and London Britain Townships have supported the Preserve and its natural and scenic resources. We utilize the Preserve for the recreational, scenic and natural resource opportunities it provides. We strongly believe that the location of a communications tower on the property at 1511 Yeatmans Station Road adjacent to the Preserve and close to residential properties in both Townships, whether or not obscured by stealth technology, will have a negative effect on the view to and from the Preserve and other nearby properties; will have a negative impact on scenic, natural, recreational and cultural resources; will be contrary to the open space and preservation purposes fostered by the Preserve and the Townships; and will have a negative effect on the value of residential properties in both Townships. Therefore, we urge the Board of Supervisors of New Garden Township to deny the request of Eco-Site, LLC for conditional use approval of the proposed communications tower.
