We, the undersigned parents and community members/leaders of Newark, support our legislators and the Bill A3637 for Local Control that would end state takeover of Newark Traditional Public Schools. That state has had control of NPS since 1995, in which they failed to monitor and measure the educational outcome in our district. The state caused disruption of educational services that would have been significant in combating the challenges our children and families face today. We support our legislators in efforts to regain full local control and full funding so our children can obtain the quality education they deserve.

We demand that you ask Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton what they will do about climate change.

I believe that there should be a mandatory fine as well as possible jail time imposed on any white individual who knowingly makes a 911 call under false pretenses against a black person and therefore endangers the life of the black person against whom they have weaponized their own innate racism and privilege. Knowingly using 911 emergency services in order to make a dishonest claim of bodily harm, an impending threat, or to spread bogus misinformation about a black person who is doing nothing whatsoever illegal should result in a mandatory fine for the white person who makes the call. Any 911 call made by a white person which is done knowing that the claim is invalid and false should be immediately penalized for reckless endangerment of human life, indifference to human life, and imminent risk of death to the black person who has had the police called on them for no legal reason or otherwise.

Alec Baldwin has been a misogynist bully and offended people far and wide by belittling the #MeToo Movement and defending sexual abusers. We call on the New Hampshire Democratic Party to immediately disinvite Baldwin from the Eleanor Roosevelt Dinner.

Join us in urging President Hamilton to remove the Sackler name from the Sackler Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences. In lieu of recent evidence that has come forth regarding the Sackler family's misconduct, it is paramount that NYU break ties with the family whose corruption fueled the opioid epidemic that has taken the lives of hundreds of thousands of Americans.

There should be no room for broadcasters as insensitive as Laura Ingraham. We ask Fox News to cancel the Laura Ingraham show because using her allowed time she mocked and insulted Mr. David Hogg who did nothing to deserve such an assault. Mr. Hogg, who survived a horrendous attack deserves better. If Fox New fails to cancel the Ingrham show, we ask all advertisers to remove the show from the list of programs they endorse.
