Particularly in this moment of political tension and polarization, we must all support and defend the right of artists to push boundaries, and resist calls to restrict the arts to "safe" topics. We call on Delta Airlines and Bank of America to stand by their artistic partners and to affirm their support for the arts regardless of social or political pressure.

During a press conference in Florida on July 27th, 2016, Donald J. Trump answered questions regarding the possibility that the Russian Government was behind hacking the Democratic National Conventions email server and leaking over 15,000 emails. After a question was asked by Katy Tur of MSNBC, Mr. Trump instead spoke about "Crooked Hillary Clinton" and her having "..deleted 30,000 emails." It was then that he held up his hand to reporters, and looked directly into the cameras. He stated clearly and concisely the following: "Russia if your listening...I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded, viably by our press." By encouraging believed foreign Government and Country to attack the United States cyber and put a bounty on communications of a former U.S. Secretary of State, he has committed Treason under the U.S Code of Law 2318 (full text of the law is found below).

The vacation rental issue in Palm Springs needs addressing, but not via moratoriums, bans or complicated attempts at density and ownership restrictions. We urge the City Council to get serious about better enforcement. We urge NEW procedures and technologies to help address neighbor's noise and occupancy concerns, without damaging the value of our homes or risking economic shock for all of us.

Let the Santa Barbara City Council know we want no changes to the Historic Mission Creek Bridge or roadway over Mission Creek. Built in 1891, It is an important City of Santa Barbara Historic Landmark. We don't agree with any of the changes the Bridge Studies Team are proposing. All would compromise the Historic Bridge and charm of the Mission Canyon Corridor and are unwarranted. We must protect the sensitive natural environment of Mission Creek, the Oak and Sycamore trees and historic walls that provide special character to the Mission Canyon Corridor and Cultural Landscape.
