  • Public Financing for Montgomery County Campaigns Now!
    The Montgomery County (MD) County Council should promptly enact Bill 16-14 to establish a public financing option for Montgomery County Council and Executive Candidates. This legislation ensures that donations of $150 or less are matched with public funds, with higher matches for donors of $50 or less. Enactment will mean a new type of voter, and a new type of candidate as Montgomery County takes its place as Maryland's "laboratory for democracy" in the electoral arena.

    Because KRWG, as a public television station, funded by its subscribers is supposed to be a reliable, independent and unbiased source of information for all - a far cry from the major commercial networks who carry a brand of "world News" that simply is NOT about the world or unbiased, but mainly seems to cover US sports figures and some of the events. I personally find the network news to be unreliable and not really informative on the major issues that affect us daily.

  • Investigate RFK Jr.’s costly and shocking bear cub crime!
    News broke that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. admitted to picking up a dead bear cub and lying and staging it in Central Park in New York City to appear like a cyclist accident 10 years ago.  Demand that the city launch an official investigation and that RFK Jr. be fined and held responsible for any wasted resources originally spent by the NYPD investigating this incident and by the city for sanitizing the park and disposing of the bear cub!
