President Obama recently signed a regulation into law which will allow the industrial wind industry to KILL EAGLES for 30 YEARS without penalty, blatantly violating the Endangered Species Act. The Denver Post dismisses news reporting and editorial comment about the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a massive international trade agreement near the end of secretive negotiations. By its lack of coverage, the Post is clearly negligent in its obligation to provide balanced news and opinion about significant events. Because the Post is the only daily mass market newspaper in Denver, this negligence translates to corporate control of what the public may know, or more simply, censorship. The Denver Post breaks every newspaper's implied social contract with readers when it does not provide a full and accurate public record of significant local and world events. The Denver Post must recognize the importance of the TPP story and begin regular news coverage. The Post is also obligated to better serve the Denver community by publishing editorial comment on the TPP.

News reports that President Obama will receive a $400,000 speaking fee at a health conference held by Wall Street firm Cantor Fitzgerald. If this corporation is willing to pay $400,000 for President Obama's words of wisdom, either the firm or the President should donate their money to support healthcare for victims of Paul Ryan's new TrumpCare plan. Ask President Obama to Stand Up and Lead Us by Donating his speaking fees to support civil rights litigation and healthcare.

The Kansas state government eliminated state taxes for 330,000 small business and farmers which has created a four year budget shortage, severe cutbacks in state services, and the stealing of funds from state pension plans and transportation funds. I encourage all Kansas voters to elect new legislators who will create a realistic tax structure for all Kansans and businesses. The current "supply side" experiment hasn't created new jobs and expanded the economy

I don't want to eat genetically engineered (GMO) apples! Please pledge to not sell the new, and untested, Arctic Golden or Arctic Granny apples. Genetically engineered foods are unlabeled, inadequately tested and potentially unsafe. The USDA has approved a new genetically engineered apple from Okanagan Specialty Fruits, but I do not want these apples. As the largest fast food-chain apple purchasers, I urge you to commit to not buy this GMO apple.

Esteemed Senators and Members of Congress, We believe that America is a place of new beginnings, where hard work and strong values should earn new citizens their place at our table. The path to becoming a citizen should not be a maze of paperwork, fees, roadblocks and waiting periods. It should be based on hard work and individual effort and it should be swift. Therefore, we urge you to join the White House in committing to a swift, streamlined roadmap to citizenship, in 7 years or less.

This petition is to request that AMHA DNA-test all new foals, or babies, back to the date that the registry books were closed in 1948, and to register them properly into a half or pure registry. This can be done by testing new foals back to the date that the AMHA registry books were closed in 1948.

Within our Congress there is a convoluted and and unfair hierarchy based upon length of service. This system entrenches politicians in positions of power because they have been elected repeatedly. The voters are in effect punished for electing new faces and fresh voices because the new person they elected will surely wield less power than the incumbent thus muffling their voices in the halls of congress. We MUST end the ranking of congressional members in this way, every voice should be equal.

Enact Immigration Reform NOW! New immigration laws should include provisions listed in the Interfaith Platform on Humane Immigration Reform, signed by over 300 organizations: 1. uphold family unity, 2. create a process for undocumented migrants to earn legal status, 3. provide efficient channels of entry for new migrant workers, 4. facilitate immigrant integration, 5. reform detention policies, 6. align the enforcement of immigration laws with humanitarian values.
