  • Cannabis Cures Cancer: Govt knew in '74...and more!!!
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free.... it expects what never was and never will be." --- Thomas Jefferson ...1816 The suppression of medical cannabis represents the greatest failure of the institutions of a free society, medicine, journalism, science, and our fundamental values. Millions of people have died horrible deaths and in many cases, families exhausted their savings on dangerous, toxic and expensive drugs. Now we are just beginning to realize that while cannabis has never killed anyone, cannabis prohibition has killed millions. -R. Cowan 1600 Americans die each and every day from cancer. Fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, ...... little children! Cannabis is proven to reduce the inflammation after traumatic brain injury and stroke, promote the growth of brain cells, inhibit the plaque that causes Alzheimer's, kill MRSA, and safely treat hundreds of diseases. Its seed is the single most nutritionally complete food source on earth, and, the plant can produce anything made from oil, coal, timber, or cotton, over 25,000 earth friendly products! • Tell Vanguard’s new CEO it’s time to lead on climate
Dear Mr. Salim Ramji, CC: members of Vanguard’s Board of Directors  Welcome to the Vanguard team. I am writing to express my sincere hope that you will use your leadership at Vanguard to steer the company in new and strategic directions. In particular, I strongly encourage you to take seriously the task of adopting new and better strategies to manage and mitigate the multifaceted risks that climate change poses to our portfolios, in order to protect the funds I’ve entrusted to you and Vanguard’s future.   Climate change poses a growing threat to my retirement savings and millions of your other current and future clients. Leading global financial institutions, including Vanguard, have forecasted unprecedented impacts to the global economy from climate change, with cumulative losses to the global economy modeled as high as 25% by mid-century. Many of the world’s largest pension funds have acknowledged that failure to address climate change will “threaten investors’ long-term ability to sustain value and generate ongoing returns for their beneficiaries over decades.” John Galloway, Vanguard’s Global Head of Investment Stewardship, has himself expressed, “Climate change represents a profound, fundamental risk to investors’ long-term success.”   However, Vanguard has fallen far behind in terms of managing and mitigating systemic risks, like climate change, which threaten overall market performance. Vanguard prides itself on its index investing strategy, which has helped clients like me access more affordable investment vehicles. It’s a strategy that applies to 80% of the client assets managed by Vanguard. By their very nature, index funds are long-term investments that are broadly diversified to “capture the return that the market provides,” characteristics which make index fund investments disproportionately exposed to the systemic risks of climate change. Because of this, my diversified investments with Vanguard are especially exposed to climate risks, and I am concerned that failure to mitigate these risks will have damaging consequences for my long-term savings.  As one of the world’s largest asset managers, Vanguard is well positioned to be at the vanguard of investors responsibly managing for – and working to mitigate – systemic risks. Through proxy voting, corporate engagement, fund offerings, and working with clients to shift their investment strategies, Vanguard can make necessary changes to its investment and stewardship approaches to mitigate growing systemic risks and protect its clients’ investments.  Undertaking these changes requires reckoning with the fact that the systemic risks posed by climate change (and other systemic risks, like biodiversity loss, artificial intelligence, and economic inequality) are unprecedented and, whether directly or indirectly, will have escalating consequences for all financial market actors.  Meeting the challenges of the 21st century requires moving away from 20th century thinking about investment risk management; it requires understanding the risks that climate change poses to both individual companies and portfolios as a whole, having a strategy to manage and mitigate those risks in long-term and passively managed funds, developing a vision to navigate a set of new and evolving risks, and having a team that is eager and able to meet these challenges. As a fiduciary, it is your duty to steward your clients’ investments – including my investments – responsibly. Failing to do what is in your control to mitigate risks to your clients’ assets is arguably a violation of your legal obligations. As many others clients before me, I am voicing my concern of Vanguard’s failure to do this under Tim Buckley’s tenure, and my hope that as the new CEO, you will take action to help safeguard my financial future.  I urge you to steer Vanguard in a new direction, and put climate risk at the forefront of Vanguard’s risk management strategies.  Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.

  • Equality wrt Vet dioxin exposure presumption
We, the undersigned, petition the US Senate, US Congress and the President of the United States to enact legislation that makes ALL veterans have equal presumption of exposure to dioxins while in the service of the United States at any location or unit. We feel that ALL veterans MUST be treated equally with respect to dioxin exposure by the US government and Department of Veterans' Affairs. NOTE: Veterans must also still prove they have a recognized condition that may be caused by dioxin exposure during or after service to get DVA benefits. Currently, only veterans of the Vietnam Conflict are afforded this in a limited presumption, “Boots on Ground” legislation, if they were in the Republic of Vietnam (served in the Republic of Vietnam between 1/9/62 and 5/7/75), per the Department of Veterans' Affairs. In fact, any current end date for any location would be invalid, as dioxins stay active for much longer than the time since the 1962 admitted RVN Agent Orange / dioxin start date, current end date is the end date for RVN service, per the DVA.

  • Oppose Budget Cuts to Florida Atlantic University and the State University System of Florida
The proposed budget cuts to Florida Atlantic University and the State University System are short-sighted and will have long-term detrimental effects to both higher education and the economy. Florida Atlantic University has an estimated economic impact of $4 billion annually in its six-county service region. Economists estimate that Florida's universities and related businesses are responsible directly and indirectly for about 771,000 jobs in the state, or 7.9 percent of the state's work force. We strongly oppose these budget cuts to Florida Atlantic University and the State University System in general. • Help Stop Cps From Illegally Stealing My Son
On December 12, my 3 1/2-month-old son ended up in the hospital because he was vomiting all his food and he wasn’t able to hold down his milk or Pedialyte. I had no idea what was wrong with him and the doctors were doing everything they could do figure out what the problem was. Although they tried their hardest, we had to get transferred to a children’s hospital. When we got there I was putting him to sleep and trying to comfort him. When we finally found the source we realized my son had a subdural hematoma, which is bleeding in the brain and retinal hemorrhages. The doctors had explained to me that the only thing that explains his injuries is someone had to have shaken him. Anyone who knows me knows I love my son more than life itself and at first I was in denial that his own father would do something to harm his only son. But when I thought about it hard, I realized that in the days before he had gotten sick the ONLY person he had been alone with was his father. Not to mention his father never came with me to Julian’s doctor appointment. That same night I took my son to the hospital. Julian’s dad left my house the very next night and never came to visit my son while he was in the hospital for 2 weeks. Well, while my son was in the hospital he had to have two brain surgeries and ultimately had to get a permanent shunt placed, I was completely devastated. To make things worse, CPS showed up the day we got discharged and took my baby boy from me. I have only been allowed to see him for an hour every Thursday since then. I have a hole in my heart and a knot in my stomach because I don’t have my baby boy in my arms and I don’t get to watch all these milestones. I’m missing out because his dad hurt him and won’t admit it. I NEED my baby home! He’s 8 months already and I’ve missed his 1st Christmas, 1st New Year, 1 Valentine’s Day, 1st Easter, and my First Mother’s Day without my baby. Now they want to take my rights away and put my son Julian up for adoption because there’s no actual evidence other than “he said she said”. His dad has lied to investigators and hasn’t even tried to see him or fight for our son! I’ve done everything that they had asked me to do and they still want to keep my baby from me! I WILL NOT go down without a fight! I will take this to trial and do everything in my power to bring my baby home!

  • prison over crowding
lance ealy has been held in prison by several federal judges in Ohio's jurisdiction on fraud charges he was given 12 years in prison claiming he owes the IRS 60.000 Dollars this was an absolute lie and abuse of power that must be brought before congress and the DOJ. lance ealy has been deprived of life, liberty and property and was abducted due to the continuing fight against police brutality and racial discrimination in the United States of America. The kidnapping was carried out by several rouge judges who where sued by larry ealy in 14cv1280. This proves that Klansmen are in power in Ohio, this abduction was slavery and modern day oppression due to filing of a law suit, the retaliation and reprisal here is well documented for having been exposed for tampering with records concerning police brutality in Dayton Ohio, Fact: larry ealy was assaulted by several Dayton Ohio police March 14, 1990 and the records sustain that former Federal District Judge Walter Herbert Rice out of Dayton Ohio conspired to obstruct obstructed justice by removal of medical records in case number 90cv159 then he instructed the jury to hold the awards of 20,000.00 for police brutality, the removal of records occurred in the judges chambers with larry ealys trial counsel present, this act occurred even though larry ealy was acquitted in case number 90CRB 1728 State of Ohio vs larry ealy. In case number 91 CR2238 the Dayton police where convicted of assault and battery against larry ealy. In appellate case number 92 CA12820 the second district court of appeals for Montgomery county Ohio affirmed the assault in case number 91-2238 and the city of Dayton refused to appeal to the highest court in the state of Ohio. Records confirm that the Dayton Police whom assaulted larry ealy lance ealys father had assaulted 385 minorities from 1985 to 1990 leading up to the assault establishing a pattern of practice see 42 USC 14141. The policy of assault was sustained by the record the police assaulted larry ealy inside the Dayton municipal court complex having been witnessed by a hundred citizens or so. Monell vs Dept. of Social Service, 436 U.S. 65891978) where the U.S. Supreme Court held that a local government was an actual person and could be sued by individual entities who had there civil liberties violated and all civil and constitutional rights. Monroe vs Pape 365 U.S. 167 (1961) this case sustains that African Americans are subjected to all types of due process violations and have been conspired against by the federal government. Ex Parte Virginia, 100 U.S. 339(1879) The type of judges here must be held accountable as in Ex Parte Virginia, for there actions of denial of due process for the black, negro and colored race as stated plainly. Congress and the White house must neutralized and place limits on power on judges who consume and abuse there powers. Bivens vs Six Unknown-Named Narcotics Agents. U.S. 38(1971).
