Be it resolved that the Government and people of New Jersey very strongly urge the US Congress to pass legislation overturning the inimical Court decision in Citizens United which is destroying our democracy futher through the corruption of money.

Fracking has been proved to be safe. There is no proof that it is harmful to the environment

Lavallette has enjoyed mail delivery since 1881 and full-time, year-round post office services since 1908. After Hurricane Sandy, the United States Postal Service implemented a reduction of services that was not planned before the hurricane. As a result, we lost our Lavallette facility and must share with the Brick Post Office, challenging our carriers to bring our mail from Brick every day.

Career politicians are mostly self serving and want to get re elected. They will not make the tough votes. If they know that they have to leave maybe, they will take on the tough issues.

The Earth First Initiative Whereas our planet is the only place in the universe where we know life exists, Whereas climate-change is a reality confirmed by scientists internationally that will destroy this life Whereas climate-change is evidenced by: - rising planetary temperatures causing melting of our polar caps, - resulting in the swallowing up by the ocean of lands such as the Maldive Islands - the loss of habitats such as for the arctic bears - increasingly severe storms with large-scale flooding of human habitats causing financial disaster - increasing areas of drought across our planet with a subsequent increase of wild fires causing damage to human and wilderness environments - an increase in the rate of global warming, rapidly approaching a point of no return - and whereas our intervention in our environment with pesticides and genetically modified organisms (GMOs) creates contaminants, toxins and pathogens with observable impacts such as: - a decline of bee colonies necessary to pollinate the flora of our earth - a rapid decline in butterfly populations that is considered a signal of environmental stress - a loss of native seeds and species - a measurable increase in cancers, mutations, and other illnesses across species - run-off of excess fertilizers causing an increase of acidity in the ocean waters with subsequent sea-life death and whereas our actions are destroying our clean waters and clean air globally and whereas the human species is responsible for these effects and ultimate destruction of life on earth and whereas climate-change knows no social demographic, and affects the entirety of life on earth and whereas many scientists believe it is already too late to reverse global warming and furthermore, whereas science has demonstrated these unavoidable outcomes for decades, we live mostly in silence regarding the effect of human actions upon this planet BE IT RESOLVED that we end the silence surrounding climate-change and instead dialog about this greatest crisis seen in knowable history -that We, The People of the United States request that our legislators consider our fragile planet earth, first, when permitting, licensing or regulating any industry -that We, The People of the United States request that our legislators create laws that provide financial incentives for the development of sustainable, environmentally friendly technologies -that We, The People of the United States consider climate-change and environmental destruction the most important issues of this age, to and promote actions, industries, legislators and legislation that protect our planet -and that We, The People of the United States, should have sovereignty over our communities, and that local interests should trump corporate interests.

Require the providers of fresh produce to label that produce with the company that provided the seeds used to grow it. The public should know what company designed the seeds for their food.

Social Security is not the right place to address the deficit. Say no to President Obama's proposal to cut Social Security by lowering the cost-of-living adjustment for current and future retirees.

Obama has almost eliminated cost of living adjustments COLA already, now he wants to carve it in stone for eternity as a trophy to his WAR ON SENIOR CITIZENS!

Limit consecutive years of service to 12 for any single position in Congress. (6 x 2 year terms for House, 2 x 6 year terms for Senate)

We are offering our sincere apologies for the actions of one person, who happened to be unemployed, who is scared, and in his fear made a very grave decision. We hope that you, Mrs. Boehner, can see and understand that all of us who sign this petition agree that these actions against you and your family are wrong and that we did not support this. We hope that you can understand that the fear of being homeless, having no job, not being able to eat, and the inability to care for ones family can cause someone to do things they should not and normally would not do. We the unemployed try to support, encourage and keep each other hopeful as best as we can, but sadly we cannot always reach everyone. We are very sorry this has happened and we will continue to do our best to ensure that we reach out to all the unemployed and attempt to offer them emotional support, resources and encouragement during these trying times.
