Congress presently receives pay increases automatically. We the undersigned do not believe this is deserved or should continued. We propose that all pay raises for congress should be an election issue decided by the people ( their employers ); decided at the time of presidential elections. The vote would be a yes or no choice. If the decision is for ( yes ), the pay increase must be equal to one quarter ( 25% ), and no greater than one quarter ( 25% ), of the concurrent rate increase in social security cost of living adjustment.

Over-stepping all of his authority and weaponizing the FCC, Donald Trump caused Jimmy Kimmel to be removed from ABC as their late show host.  After public outrage, ABC and Disney decided to bring him back to his scheduled time slot.  On September 23, 2025 "Jimmy Kimmel Live" was supposed to return to ABC and be aired Nation-wide once again, which happened nearly everywhere. But not in Clarksburg WV or the North Central West Virginia area. Unfortunately, our local ABC affiliate in Clarksburg West Virginia was ordered by their parent company, NexStar, to keep Jimmy Kimmel off the air.  When he was to return, WBOY aired instead, Kelly Clarkson.  When I contacted WBOY asking why, the person I spoke with said, "someone who has never stepped foot into our station made the decision."   I told him to tell NexStar that they are stifling the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and to stop. The U.S. government shouldn't take 24 months to process PTSD disability paperwork when the Army Reserve Soldiers are given only 30 days notice before they have to report for duty.

We oppose further cuts to Medicare and Medicaid to Nursing Homes. The Healthcare system needs facilities that provide 24 hour nursing care and have all the protections a nursing home provides.
