WBOY in Clarksburg WV Refuses to Air Jimmy Kimmel Live
Over-stepping all of his authority and weaponizing the FCC, Donald Trump caused Jimmy Kimmel to be removed from ABC as their late show host. After public outrage, ABC and Disney decided to bring him back to his scheduled time slot.
On September 23, 2025 "Jimmy Kimmel Live" was supposed to return to ABC and be aired Nation-wide once again, which happened nearly everywhere. But not in Clarksburg WV or the North Central West Virginia area.
Unfortunately, our local ABC affiliate in Clarksburg West Virginia was ordered by their parent company, NexStar, to keep Jimmy Kimmel off the air. When he was to return, WBOY aired instead, Kelly Clarkson. When I contacted WBOY asking why, the person I spoke with said, "someone who has never stepped foot into our station made the decision." I told him to tell NexStar that they are stifling the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and to stop.
