Stop the closing 0f Kingsboro Psychiatric Center and Down State Hospital/ Medical School.There is an attack on the mental health System. There is a smear Campaign to justify steeling Brooklyn tax dollars and not providing the services to the Brooklyn residents. It doesn't make sense for Brooklyn the biggest borough to send our Mentally ill families to Staten Island 2 1/2 hours away for treatment, they will quicker take to the streets!

GLOBAL WARMING is THE MOST PRESSING ISSUE. Make the fight to reduce global warming THE PRIORITY ISSUE before it is too late!!! The technology to do this is in place, but those in power are not talking or doing what needs to be done.

For many, a consultation with a specialist can mean out of pocket charges of $500. or more per visit, making these services only available to the very rich, or in some cases, those with Medicare or Medicaid coverage. This excludes the working middle class and their families, including teachers, firemen and police officers who often must travel great distances to find in-network providers or affordable options. We implore our President and legislators on the state and national level to put aside special interests and endeavor to fix our broken healthcare system and make it accessible and equitable for all Americans.

I propose that politicians contribute to their retirement and receive the same retirement benefits as all citizens. They should follow the same guidelines as all of us with regard to retirement age,, income based on contribution, Medicare A & B.

Close The Halliburton Loophole. Give the people of the United States back their basic right to Clean Air and Clean Water.

Childcare workers are always placed on the backburner. No one seems to address the needs of childcare workers. We are the people who provide care, nutritional,emotional,and early education to both children and parents. Which allow parents to continue work to provide for their families .

I propose that thousands of jobs be created in every state by moving overhead power lines, telephone and cable lines underground.
