Please Stop the Rezoning of 15 Acres in Tevalo Hills. We are currently zoned 1 home per acre (ASC-1) and the proposed zoning(RSC-9R) will allow 9 Units per acre. This rezoning will allow a minimum of 52 additional homes to be built in our already congested area. The rezoning will not fit with the character of our neighborhood.

Our children, including children at the Kindergarten level, are required to take standardized test. These test can not, do not, and will not ever assess accurately what children are learning in school. Children are individuals, treat them as such. Teach the child and stop wasting our tax dollars on standardized tests.

We ask that no Florida state pension funds be invested in the gun industry. These funds should not be used to support an industry that opposes every attempt to improve gun safety, especially when modest efforts are supported by the overwhelming majority of the public.

I would like to start a petition giving myself an exemption to the 1934 Communications ACT and title 47 U.S.C. section 302 letter A & B. I have created a device that would jam a cell phone signal 3 to 5 feet inside a vehicle only when the vehicle is in operation. It would not interfere with anybody's cell phone space. It will only jam a signal within the front seat of a vehicle. With the research out about distracted driving, along with teen driving while texting accidents, this product would be a great safety device to teen drivers and ALL others sharing our roads. I want to focus first with parents with teen drivers, and then eventually move forward to help make our roads safer. People really should sign my petition, because distractive driving involves everyone. We should all be concerned with the safety on our roads, and for our children.

The proposed 5-story Hillsdale Terraces housing on El Camino at 27th and 28th Avenue has problematic scale, parking, traffic generation and public safety issues. We want the project scaled back to 3 stories, or 4 stories with a setback.

This petition requires that any political advertisement displayed on the internet disclose the actual top 5 funders of that ad, following the same requirements of the recent AB14 California disclosure act.
