We the staff, parents, and families of Mayberry Middle School District 259 would like to petition that Mr. Jeff Freund remain the principal at Mayberry and not be moved to a different school. In the three years he has been at Mayberry he has not only grown the Magnet program into the most applied to Middle School Magnet, but is a foundation for families, staff, and students. During a time of great uncertainty about daily school life, it would be detrimental to put students and staff through yet another change by having a new principal. He truly embraces the mission of Mayberry and has created a safe and including environment for staff and students. To change this environment now , would be unjust to not only students but their families and the staff.

Urge President Trump to tweet his followers how serious the COVID-19 pandemic is. His followers, including his base, must understand that it is critical that everybody in our nation must follow the instructions that the CDC and WHO are publishing. Our goal is partial reauthorization/legislation that will address eliminating gaps in the HIV Care Continuum, which requires that we prioritize services that do this best: HIV and STD testing, medical case management to help link and retain people in care, and treatment adherence services to keep people healthy and HIV viral loads suppressed. Reauthorizing the CARE Act to focus on providing these services is critical to achieving this goal. The program already provides HIV testing, linkage and retention services, and treatment adherence services to nearly 50% of all people with the disease in the U.S. Even with the implementation of health care reform, we need to expand these services because other providers in our healthcare system, such as Medicaid and private insurance, do not cover them and do not have the HIV expertise of the CARE Act.
