Dear President Obama, We love our parks. As we mark the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service, I want to thank you for protecting so many of our public lands and defending our environment. From the Cesar Chavez National Monument in Keene to Stonewall National Monument in New York City, you have ensured our most treasured places are safe for future generations to enjoy. But I know you can do more! Four remarkable places in the United States need immediate protection and you are their best chance. I urge you to establish national monuments in Utah's Bears Ears region, El Paso's Castner Range, Nevada's Gold Butte region, and expand protections in the Greater Grand Canyon area. Please build on your impressive legacy by designating these parks before the end of your administration.
