The Mohawk Valley Water Authority will discontinue the water fluoridation program and stop adding fluoride to the water supply. This impacts approximately 130,000 customers of the Mohawk Valley Water Authority, including citizens living in Utica, New Hartford, Clinton, Whitesboro, Whitestown, Yorkville, Marcy and Holland Patent, NY.

We are asking the government to allocate additional funding to provide for the training necessary for new adoptive parents. We also ask that the 'Every Child Deserves a Family Act' be revised, in to order to ensure equal opportunity for all families, and to allow both parents in a same sex relationship to adopt legally.

I am writing as a concerned resident of New Jersey regarding the growing energy consumption of AI companies and data centers.  Recent studies have highlighted that AI-driven energy demand could increase electricity bills by up to 70% for everyday consumers.  More recently, at the last auction, rates were given that will result in an increase between 16 to 20% in electric for consumers in NJ. BPU has stated that this is due to large data centers driving up the cost of electric for everyone. This is deeply troubling, as the average New Jersey family is already burdened with high living costs. Large-scale AI operations and data centers consume enormous amounts of electricity, straining our grid and driving up costs for ordinary residents. While these companies reap significant profits, taxpayers and small businesses shoulder the financial and environmental consequences.  We must take proactive steps to ensure that these energy-intensive businesses pay their fair share. I urge you to introduce legislation that:  1. Increases electricity rates for AI data centers to reflect their disproportionate consumption.  2. Imposes a sustainability surcharge on high-energy users to fund grid improvements and renewable energy investments.  3. Mandates energy efficiency and renewable energy adoption for large data centers operating in New Jersey. This issue affects everyone, and without action, New Jerseyans will face rising energy costs and greater strain on our infrastructure.
