The Urbana City Council and the Urbana Free Library board should consider raising the Urbana property tax levy to support the services provided to Urbana residents by the Urbana Free Library before considering cuts to services provided by the library to Urbana residents, such as cutting library hours.

Californians agree: The statewide plastic bag ban, bill SB 270, is a huge win for keeping plastic out of the Pacific. Nothing we use for five minutes should pollute the ocean we love for hundreds of years. I support keeping the bag ban in place.

We wish you to hear our plausible compromise that should be an acceptable alternative while allowing the American flag to be proudly flown on a year round basis.We strongly urge the St. Augustine City Commissioners to rescind their previous position restricting the display of our American flag, the symbol of all Americans and our 1.6 million Veterans in the great state of Florida and allow the American flag to be proudly flown on the Bridge of Lions.

The environmental crises facing our nations are facts, not opinions or matters of faith. People of Ohio need to be exposed to a studied, factual presentation of these issues. Add an Environmental Survey course to the core curriculum of Ohio's colleges.

The Citizens of the United States from the ages of newborn to even those that have passed are continual victims of Social Security and Identity Theft. The Single Largest White Collar Crime in America has been ignored in the Halls of Congress and the White House. To date, the citizens have been ignored. Even a Federal Court Ordered Mandate for Legislative Remedy has been ignored. Without an Identity, without Credit, without a way of life, our Citizens cannot go on. Only Congress can pass the laws necessary to protect its Citizens and its Citizens are left powerless without this protection. We demand to be heard, we demand that Congress and the President listen to our plight and Act on our behalf.

I agree with Commonwealth Court Judge Bernard McGinley. Voter ID is "invalid and unconstitutional on its face." Do not appeal the voter ID law to the Supreme Court.
