With coronavirus cases rising in over 40 states, the United States Senate should immediately focus on providing real coronavirus relief and financial support to struggling families and businesses. As Senator Kamala Harris stated on October 13, 2020, "Senate Republicans have made it crystal clear that rushing a Supreme Court nomination is more important than helping and supporting the American people that are suffering from a deadly pandemic and the devastating economic crisis." The Senate should postpone the confirmation hearings until after the elections and instead take up real Covid-19 relief.

MyPillow CEO, Mike Lindell is a supporter of far right political activity and has aggressively pushed conspiracy theories, including those espoused by the insurrectionist mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. His products have been taken off the shelves at retailers such as Bed, Bath & Beyond, Kohl's and Costco. Your station, Portland Maine NBC affiliate, WCSH and the Bangor Maine sister station, WLBZ, continue to run ads for MyPillow during the Rachael Ray show. I have emailed and called you on this subject and you have not yet responded. I am asking you to cut ties Mike Lindell/MyPillow by ceasing to air his ads.

Rhode Island is our nation's smallest state yet we have 400 miles of coastline. Our economy is largely dependent on tourism and other industry related to the ocean. Oil exploration off our coast has the potential to be disastrous to our local and regional economy.

The latest tax hike plans to pay for the "free" college educations comes on the backs of people that have been diligently saving. This is a misguided plan to pay for a noble cause.

The U.S. citizen's own money should not be used to pay for our government to collect, gather and/or store information on innocent Americans. Our tax money should not be used to violate the 4th Amendment. Our tax money should not be used to build PRISM or any other mass storage facility of all data acquired illegally. Our tax money should not be used to cover-up government abuse.

The undersigned believe that Erie Community College is making a poor investment with State and County funds by pursuing a new Health-Science based STEM facility anywhere other than Downtown Buffalo. With ECC's largest student population coming from the City of Buffalo, and the largest job creators in health sciences at the Buffalo-Niagara Medical Campus in Downtown Buffalo, that is where ECC should invest our community's tax dollars.

Start treating bullying of special needs people as what they are: criminal actions against individuals who cannot defend themselves appropriately. Start imposing serious consequences regardless of the age of the perpetrator or victim and make them enforceable by law. Anti-bullying laws are not enforced and they do not carry any serious penalties. These need to stop.
