Before any decisions are made, there should be research done to prove that this will be beneficial for our community. There also needs to be foresight into future developments in case that land is needed for other City projects. We need to put a stop to this development to analyze all the pros and cons before committing to something that could very well be detrimental to the future of our town.

We, the undersigned, petition the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to alter the design of the new Commercial Street Bridge to minimize the noise level of vehicles on the bridge, as well as the highway extension to the Edgewood/Swissvale exit. We specifically demand full height sidewalls on the bridge, without metal rails, to reduce noise. In addition, we petition the department to prohibit the use of “Jake Brakes’ with appropriate signage and enforcement.

The National Park Service has plans to install new gas boilers to heat historic buildings in Philadelphia's Old City. This would mean that these locations would burn fossil fuels for decades. The National Park Service should seek green alternatives to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality.

This Petition seeks to demand an injunction be filed against Fox News Corp. to prevent them from using the word "NEWS" in any of the names of any of their shows or in any of their advertising. It can be plainly and legally be established that it is patently "false advertising". Furthermore, they should be forced to consider either changing their name or their business model.
