  • Tell Commissioner Jannarone to Reject Pipelines through the Pinelands
I am writing to urge the Cumberland County Board of Freeholders to oppose the South Jersey Gas and the New Jersey Natural Gas pipelines. Both pipelines violate the rules that protect the Pinelands National Reserve. If these rules are compromised, it will set a dangerous precedent that can’t be undone. Commissioner Jannarone is intended to represent us, the residents of Cumberland County. The NJNG and SJG pipelines will put us and our environment at risk. We reject these pipelines and expect Commissioner Jannarone to act accordingly.

  • Remove Jacob Anderson from UT Dallas
Following the news of allegations of sexual assault, Baylor removed Jacob Anderson not only from the fraternity over which he presided but also kicked him out of the school. Now, following a plea of no contest, he is a student at UT Dallas. The students at UT Dallas have a right to feel safe on their campus. Anderson submitted a plea of no contest and was sentenced to deferred probation, and will not be made to register as a sex offender. That being the case, the school has a responsibility to ensure that their decision to admit Anderson was fully informed.

  • Save Amtrak's Long Distance Trains
Amtrak's network of long distance trains are a wonderful, economical, environmentally friendly way of travelling. Amtrak's network of Long distance trains serve communities that do not have airports, nor are served by greyhound, mega bus, or bolt bus. There is news of troubling policies that would eliminate this way of travel starting wit the elimination of hot meals in the dining car. If this were to happen The United States would be the only Major Country in the world that does not have a national rail network.

  • 501 Taylor Young Variance Request
The residents of the Hue Vista Neighborhood would like to show our support in favor of the variance request for 501 Taylor Young Drive, Kirkwood, MO 63122. We have reviewed the requested variance and believe it will allow the new owners to build a house that will meet our neighborhood's standards. As our indentures require, homes in the neighborhood need to be ranch or split-level homes. As shown, the requested variance is reasonable for building a ranch consistent with others in the neighborhood. We thank you for your consideration of this request.

  • Halt Arms Sales to Saudi Arabia!
Evidence is mounting that the new Saudi strongman, Mohammed bin Salman, is planning, sooner or later, to attack Iran. This would be the height of folly, and a disaster for the entire world. Trump is bragging about his "deal" to sell the Saudis $400 billion in advanced weapons. This only makes war more likely, and will continue the Saudi war on Yemen. Please sign this petition to help prevent these weapons falling into the hands of Saudi Arabia. The world is not made safer by more and more weapons! Thank you!
