I have been trying for many years now too get your help with my health issues and dealing with the Veterans Affairs and its' Health Care Medical System. I have a Veterans Board of Appeals Remand Claim that should have been sent back too the VARO/DRO, in Manhattan New York, for more work under "Q".. Instead it was sent down here too North Carolina, and they only want too pay me from 1980/or 1986.. My claim as you can get from the VBA, in Washington, DC. Where you will read and that the Judge has stated, dates back to the year(s), 1971/1973 and 1986. for non-service connected disability which was denied. It has been a very long fight of my claims being denied and medical treatment being denied also, and being forced too travel all the way back too, NYC... Just to have someone to tell me too come back again, another year, six month's, four months, three, two weeks' from today, and making a appointment for the next day. And then asking me to drive all the way back to North Carolina, for my next appointment. The following morning!! And they still would do anything for this veteran..

With the passages of SB 288 and 289, and the subsequent authorization of wolf hunting and trapping in Michigan's Upper Peninsula by the Department of Natural Resources Commission, we pledge NOT to visit or spend our tourism dollars in the Upper Peninsula, and to not knowingly purchase any products made in the Upper Peninsula, as long as wolf hunting and trapping are permitted in that region of our state. Because the people's right to referendum on this matter and all future matters involving the wildlife of our state has been denied by the enactment of these bills, we find that economic action in the form of a boycott is the only option left available to us. (Tribal lands and Native American products are specifically exempt from this boycott.)

CSU has to repair the roof of the Recreation Center. They have decided NOT to reinstall the rooftop garden as a result. This garden has had a major impact on the Greater Cleveland Community. Many CSU students, staff, faculty and community members donate towards the $250,000 project. I would like to show my support in keeping the CSU Rooftop Garden as it is part of the legacy of "Engaged Learning".

Speaker Madigan, you MUST organize your fellow Democrats in the Illinois House to make the current corporate and individual income tax rates permanent. If you don’t show courage and leadership on this issue, all Illinoisans will experience the devastating effects of $4 BILLION in budget cuts.

We urge you to support Sen. Tom Udall’s constitutional amendment. Money is not speech, and the Supreme Court’s decisions have perverted our democracy. As Sen. Udall said: “elections have become more about the quantity of cash and less about the quality of ideas.” It is time to bring some balance.
