We are asking individuals, organizations, and governments in every country to publicly support the urgent call for a newly proposed “Level 8” emergency response to the ongoing crisis at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. “We need to act now—to inform and mobilize our communities to demand that local, regional, and national leadership move quickly and gather sufficient resources to initiate and direct an independent, international effort to stabilize, monitor radioactive releases and plumes, and clean up Fukushima. The global environment—and long-term health and safety of every person on the planet, present and future—is at stake.”

Enbridge's plan to expand the Alberta Clipper pipeline must be submitted for a full review that evaluates whether it will have an impact on the climate. Allowing anything less would undermine the credibility of the Obama Administration's climate policy.

CVS employees have been informed that they must submit their weight, body fat levels, blood glucose levels and other vital statistics or face a $600 penalty. This sets a dangerous precedent for employer access to private health information, and could become common practice among employers if not stopped now. We're calling on CVS to respect their employees' right to privacy. Don't penalize your workers for wanting to keep their health records private.

The Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution: "Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex." Floridians ask you, to strongly consider and make provision for the nonpartisan ERA proposal, HCR 8001. As you are aware it is not a State Bill, but a formal recommendation that requires the approval from a majority of the Legislators. Since all citizens, male and female are granted equal protection under the law, we ask you to add "equal right"s to our constitution.

Working tradespeople in the filmed-entertainment community of North Carolina implore our State Representatives to maintain our current Film Incentive Program. This 25% tax-rebate program has already created thousands of North Carolina jobs for actors, carpenters, casting directors, electricians, camera operators, grips, rigging technicians, location scouts, make-up and hair artists, drivers, advertising professionals, computer graphics artists and untold scores of additional skilled-labor positions in just a few years time. In-state spend from visiting productions will be valued at over $1B before year five - with the vast majority of those dollars staying here in North Carolina - going to payroll and throughout the communities where productions take place. Local hotels, vehicle rental agencies, restaurants, catering businesses and myriad supporting industries are the direct beneficiaries of the cash windfall that accompanies each project. Without incentives, productions quickly find other states that are more receptive to hosting the business. You must look no further than Michigan to see what happens when you cut Film Incentive Programs short before businesses become permanently established. Instead look to the most popular states for production away from Hollywood, like Louisiana and Georgia, who have both gone from less than $250M in their first years to nearly $10B in combined in-state spend in 2012. Dear President Obama, Father's Day represents a celebration of our cherished obligation to protect our children, and to help prepare them for happy, healthy and fulfilling lives into the future. We, the undersigned fathers of children across America, believe that increasing our nation's dependence on fossil-fuel tar sands oil, from any source, runs completely counter to this most sacred of obligations. We urge you to take the meaning of Father's Day to heart - both as our President and as a beloved father yourself - and REJECT THE KEYSTONE "TAR SANDS" PIPELINE.

Please adopt the Next Generation Science Standards for the benefit of Kentucky children. Kentucky students deserve the most up-to-date science education, and that includes learning about climate change. The Next Generation Science Standards will help prepare our students for the challenges and opportunities they will face later in the 21st Century.

We the undersigned request that serious disciplinary action, including revocation of her counseling credentials and removal from professional counseling organizations be considered against Barbara Rothweiler, Ph.D. for failing to uphold the ethics and professional requirements of her counseling license. As Principal of St. Pius X School, she is refusing to allow a student (Damien) to "walk for graduation" as a male because his birth certificate indicates "female" - even though his family, teachers, and friends recognize him as DAMIEN. At a minimum, this is inconsistent with best practices of the field. Worse, her actions have potential to cause irreparable emotional and psychological damage to Damien. Her actions are not supported by the DSM, best practice, or codes of ethics.

Low Income People who have been sentenced to a breathalyzer installed in our cars. The new added $30.00 fee. I can't afford it I am a single Mom trying to survive. Am I just looked at as a DRUNK .WHO DESERVES IT? My past story will not make a difference to you. But, I do have a story. But, it's to late. I can't fix the past. If I could undo what happened by a Lousy Lawyer. I would of. I did hire another lawyer after the fact. He said there was NO EVIDENCE. I was put in a corner. I did have an offense when I was 30 years old. Because of Melanie's Law, everyone suffer's for one woman's neglect. I am a hard working individual who has paid and paid, and continues to have to pay. When does it stop? My life is ruined. There is not a day a wake and can actually live a normal life. I always pass my monthly review. I am not an alcoholic, and hate the fact that I am labeled for the rest of my life, due to bad lawyering that I actually paid for. I don't know if any one will responded to this touchy subject. But, due to the monthly fee I need to pay, I will soon be picking food, electricity, gas or my son will have to do without (new shoes, pant's ect.). Maybe even our home. Is there any hope for some kind of low income consideration? I will obey the law and try to continue to obey the law. I just don't know how poor people are expected to survive and provide for their loved ones. Maybe no one cares. If you can help send me in any direction I would appreciate it. Thank You Donna
