New York has banned fracking. It's time for us to ban fracking in Pennsylvania.

I support Senator Elizabeth Warren’s call for Congress to hold oversight hearings into the New York Federal Reserve Bank’s deferential relationship with Goldman Sachs and other Wall Street banks.

Thousands of patients across the country who suffer from chronic pain are being turned away by regular primary care facilities at the behest of new DEA laws that forbid these doctors to treat chronic pain patients, but turn them away to pain "specialists" who are only allowed by the DEA to have only 300 patients maximum. If you are a RMHP Medicaid recipient, the list is shortened to 100 patients per treating doctor. Though patients may have health insurance, many are unable to use it in smaller towns because there are only 1 or 2 pain doctors that treat chronic pain; their waiting lists are impossible to penetrate. For other types of illnesses, patients are forced to the local ER's for treatment.

Recently-released tapes show that examiners at the New York Federal Reserve--whose job is to regulate Wall Street banks--were overly-deferential and fearful of the financial giants they were in charge of keeping in line. Senator Elizabeth Warren called out the "disturbing issues” raised by these tapes, and said "it's our job to make sure our financial regulators are doing their jobs." Warren is pushing for Congressional hearings into the tapes, and we're standing with her to urge Congress to take action.

Stop Gov. Christie from giving polluters a pass and making our global climate crisis that much worse. Put New Jersey back in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative and make us a leader in the fight against climate change.

Please back President Obama's diplomatic approach to Iran. Now is not the time to undermine negotiations with calls for increased sanctions or unrealistic demands for a final deal. Don't lead us down a path that could lead to another senseless war in the Middle East.

Dear Administrator McCarthy, Honey bees, native bees and other pollinators are responsible for one out of every three bites of food we eat. Many fruits and vegetables, including apples, blueberries, strawberries, carrots and broccoli, as well as almonds and coffee, rely on bees. These beneficial insects are critical in maintaining our diverse food supply. U.S. beekeepers have been consistently losing 40-100 percent of their hives. Widespread use of a new class of toxic pesticides, neonicotinoids, is a significant contributing factor. In addition to killing bees outright, research has shown that even low levels of these dangerous pesticides impair bees' ability to learn, to find their way back to the hive, to collect food, to produce new queens, and to mount an effective immune response. Already, 15 countries have imposed a two-year restriction on the use of several of these chemicals. However, the EPA continues to ignore scientists -- even those employed by the EPA -- and has delayed action until 2018. We request an immediate moratorium on the use of neonicotinoid pesticides. Bees can't wait five more years – they are dying now. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has the power and responsibility to protect our pollinators. Our nation's food system depends on it.

Speaker Silver, We the undersigned urge you to put the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact up for a vote in the New York State Assembly this legislative session. We ask this so that New Yorkers can know our votes will count as much as any other American's in the next presidential election.

Solar energy is on the upswing across the nation, and in the New England region. It is taking off on rooftops and communities across the region. But, we are falling behind our neighbors in our efforts to tap clean local energy sources; like solar energy. We must do much more. I urge your administration to keep New Hampshire on a path to a cleaner energy future by committing to 10,000 solar rooftops in state by the end of the decade.

There are enough laws on the books to stop violent crime, these new laws will only affect the law abiding and legislate them out of a constitutional right. subjecting millions to mandatory buy backs and confiscation or subject them to felony charges. Enough is enough no more gun control in California!!
