In Dire need of new Water and sewer equipments. Erosion controlThe Tuntutuliak Traditional Council operates the Water and Sewer services to the residents. The equipments are over 15 years old and in need of dire replacement. They are old and leaky and pose health hazards to the residents, especially the sewer tank. The old tank leaks raw sewer and poses environmental and human hazards. The Water tank also leaks. We also need new machinery to plow boardwalks so the workers can deliver the needed services to each resident who needs water or have their raw sewer dumped at the lagoon. Our river is also erroding and is threatening homes, gas station and the new airport. We NEED funding to take care of these important issues.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Patrick Pavila

Make DC a State: Pass the New Columbia Admission ActCongress should immediately vote on, and pass Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton's New Columbia Admission Act turning the District of Columbia into the 51st state. The law would redraw the District line to include only the area along the mall from the Capitol building to White House and Lincoln memorial, and award Congressional representation and statehood to those citizens in the area outside of the new district line. It is a travesty that in a country founded on the idea of "No Taxation without Representation," the 618,000 residents of the District of Columbia do not have a vote in the United States Senate or on the floor of the Unites States House of Representatives. It is long past time to make DC a state like every other.94 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David Shuster

Mandate for all new public construction to incorporate renewable energyI would like for all government funded structures to incorporate renewable energy sources where ever possible or practical. The principles of passive solar heating are well known and should be part of the planning of any new buildings or remodeling of older structures. Most public buildings operate primarily during daylight hours, when solar energy sources would be most productive. Use of other renewable energy sources as part of public structures could also be a test of the viability af systems and will help to spread their use. By increasing the market use of these systems the price per installation and per energy unit produced would become reduced. This would also help to decentralize energy production, eventually reduce taxes needed to pay for public energy use, and help reduce dependency on fossil fuels by both foreign energy sources and influence by large corporate energy providers.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John Heinz

Free Sharon E. Duttle / End the Corruption in New MexicoThis is a petition to request an investigation into the case of Sharon E. Duttle in Dona Ana County, New Mexico. She is innocent! Together we can bring attention to the corruption of the Animal Cruelty Task Force in New Mexico. These individuals destroy lives, families, and healthy animals. The cover-ups’, lies and judicial abuse must stop! The "GOOD OL BOY" system rules…this MUST change! Her case is not a rarity; there have been numerous other cases and complaints involving the Animal Cruelty Task force which have led to civil rights lawsuits including hers. Together, we have the power to make changes! Thank you for your support!44 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Allison Zepeda

Stand Up For New Jersey Children During Budget NegotiationsDear Congressman/Senator: I am writing to you as someone who is raising children in New Jersey. I am writing to ask you to stand up for our children during budget negotiations. Less than 8% of our nation’s budget is spent on children, and for the first time, discretionary spending on children has declined two years in a row! Starving our children of services today will cost so much more in the long run. I am especially worried about cuts to early childhood services like Head Start and Child Care, Meals on Wheels, and community-based services that help us raise our children to be healthy physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our communities are already struggling. Grandparents raising their grandchildren, parents working multiple jobs, families who fell out of the middle class because of unemployment or Hurricane Sandy, are dealing with unbelievable stress. We need these community programs to sustain our families. You know in your heart that investments in children and families are investments that bring the best return. Please, do all you can to fight cuts to these programs that help those of us who are doing the job of raising the children who will be tomorrow’s leaders, employers, and workers.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Essex County Family Council

Support a new national monument to our Native American veteransFrom Code Talkers to the cavalry, more than 200,000 Native Americans have proudly served our country and they have enlisted at rates far exceeding those of other ethnicities. Yet, they lack a special place to honor those who have served. S.1046 permits the National Museum of the American Indian to begin raising private funds for a new Native American Veterans' Memorial. Please sign on as a co-sponsor and support this important project to honor our Native American heroes.955 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Pat Davis
