  • Stop S.06779 the Internet Protection Act bill in New York
Assemblymen Republicans James Conte and Dean Murray I urge you to reconsider S.06779 The Internet protection Act. The 1st amendment is what makes this country so great, this bill could cause more problem s then what it is worth and will make people more afraid of coming forward with issues if they feel they will have to put there addresses online. People in American have a right to speak freely without fear of Government or reprisals from Government or people. There are already laws that protect slander if people wish to come forward. The internet must not be a place of fear to have opinions heard. Please I beg for you and other sponsors of S06779 The Internet Protection Act to please reconsider this bad piece of legislation. Yes, we must stop Cyber Bullying but lets not leave people in fear of using the internet. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS THE 1st AMENDMENT AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WHERE WE ARE AND MUST ALWAYS BE FREE.

  • Kidnapped and missing children on last 5 mins of all 'news' programming
We would like to see the last 5 - 3 mins of all 'news' programs on national television show images of kidnapped and missing children. This includes daytime, nightly, and cable channel news programs. For example if Chris Matthews tv show is considered news then he too would spend the last 3 - 5 minutes showing kidnapped and missing children images.

  • 4 easy steps to make 30 million new US jobs,
    1. End the US's membership in the WTO and NAFTA, and any other "free trade" agreement that makes super low wage under poverty third world country manufacturing that much more attractive to US companies. 2. Make trade agreements that will make it mandatory to pay workers of any country involved to be higher than the poverty level by at least 50%. 3. Make Unionizing employees of any company with more than 100 workers easier. 4. Do not trade with countries that do not have laws to protect their workers like we do in the US.

  • Help New York City Bed and Breakfasts Stay Open for Business
I support StayNYC and the right for New York City Bed and Breakfasts to stay open for business. Established Bed & Breakfasts (B&B’s) within NYC have been made unintended targets for closure due to state law Ch. 225 of 2010, which prohibits stays of less than 30 days in all Class A buildings. The State law only affects the 5 boroughs of New York City. B&B’s are now subject to inspections by the Mayor's Office of Special Enforcement Task Force. As a result, several legitimate, hotel and sales tax compliant B&B's have closed. StayNYC is advocating for an exemption to the law for a specific class of small facilities operators in New York City. The warmth, comfort and personalized service of B&B’s can be found in virtually every corner of the globe. With a record 50 million visitors per year, New York City needs to offer that option as well.
