To our city officials!!!!
We, the concerned residents of District 4, are writing to address the pressing issue of cleanliness and safety at Castle Park. This beloved community space has become increasingly neglected, leading to a decline in its overall condition and usability. We believe that immediate action is necessary to restore Castle Park to a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for all community members.
City Clean-Up: We propose a city-sponsored clean-up initiative at Castle Park. This initiative would involve:
1. **Organized Clean-Up Days:** Collaborating with local organizations, schools, and community groups to host regular clean-up events to engage residents in taking pride in their park.
2. **Waste Management Improvement:** Increasing the number of trash and recycling bins throughout the park and ensuring regular collection to prevent litter accumulation.
3. **Educational Campaigns:** Launching awareness programs about the importance of keeping the park clean and encouraging responsible disposal of waste.
**Increased Police Patrolling:**
In addition to the clean-up efforts, we urge the city to enhance safety measures within Castle Park by:
1. **Regular Police Patrols:** Establishing a visible police presence during both day and night to deter drug abuse and littering. This will create a safer environment for families, children, and all park-goers.
2. **Community Engagement:** Encouraging police officers to engage with the community, fostering positive relationships and open communication regarding safety concerns.
Castle Park is a vital part of our community, providing a space for recreation, relaxation, and connection. By addressing the cleanliness and safety issues through this proposal, we can ensure that it remains a cherished destination for current and future residents.
We respectfully request your support in implementing these initiatives to revitalize Castle Park for the enjoyment and well-being of all.
Thank you for considering our proposal. We look forward to your prompt attention to this matter and hope to see positive changes in Castle Park soon.
Sincerely,
Nayari Veras
Community advocate and resident of district 4
