Petition to get CCSD schools crossing guards
It is imperative and non negotiable that CCSD implement some form of protection for students to cross streets on these intersections -- ones that frequently host pedestrians and drivers alike -- and other places where any accident has the remote chance to occur. Through the form of crossing guards, stop lights, and whatever else at the disposal of our district and city, we can save the lives of students, the way we should have saved the life of McKenzie Scott.
Why is this important?
This petition was created in response to the tragic death of McKenzie Scott on N Buffalo Drive. The administration at both CCSD and Arbor View High School explicitly have paid no due reverence to the safety of students when crossing the street to and from school, and it is unacceptable to let another tragedy occur because of this irreverence.

Widespread acknowledgement and advertisement around schools
