Why is this important?
On Wednesday during President-elect Donald Trump's first press conference since July, he said about the Affordable Care Act: "let it implode in '17." [1]
Millions of Americans and their families rely on the ACA, Medicare and Medicaid to keep their families healthy -- and to help them when they get sick. Now President-elect Trump and other Republicans in Congress want to take our health care away, rather than expanding and improving it so that we pay lower premiums, get cheaper prescription drugs, and have a plan that works best for their family.
It is outrageous that President-elect Trump and Republicans in Congress want to undo improvements to our healthcare system rather than working to expand and build upon them.
