Tell FedEx: Stop Supporting the NRA!

FedEx ended its corporate partnership with the NRA in October 2018. https://thehill.com/business-a-lobbying/413913-fedex-cuts-ties-with-nra

FedEx must stop supporting the NRA and pull out of the NRA's Business Alliance now.

Why is this important?

FedEx is a member of the National Rifle Association's Business Alliance. As a member of the alliance, it grants discounts of up to 26 percent for NRA members, a generous perk that encourages people to join the NRA and adopt its gun culture, building the organization's power.

In 2016, FedEx was #58 on the Fortune 500 list of companies, with revenues exceeding $50 billion. As an economic powerhouse, and as an iconic American brand, it needs to send a message to the gun lobby and reassure the communities it serves that it does not condone the NRA's extremist agenda by cutting its NRA ties.

The National Rifle Association accepts millions of dollars from gun manufacturers every year to advance an extremist pro-gun agenda, while presenting itself as a grassroots organization for gun owners, which FedEx helps to support by being part of the NRA Business Alliance and offering members discounts. The NRA right now is working to eliminate gun-free zones at schools and houses of worship, gutting criminal background checks for gun sales, and getting rid of all permitting requirements for people who want to conceal-carry their weapons, among other things.

FedEx should not have any part in building the NRA's membership and advancing its lethal agenda.
