Venezuela Is Not a Threat — Choose Peace
We call on the United States government to halt any military or provocative actions against Venezuela and to pursue a path of diplomacy and regional cooperation.
Why is this important?
We, the undersigned, emphasize that Venezuela poses no real threat to U.S. national security. While our country faces serious internal challenges, any military action against Venezuela would not benefit the American people; rather, it would waste vital national resources and further destabilize the region.
Historical experience has shown that military intervention in Latin America does not lead to sustainable outcomes. Diplomacy and peaceful, strategic engagement are the best paths to ensuring America’s true security and interests.
