Vote Out Every Republican Who Just Gave $70 Billion to ICE

On June 9, House Republicans passed a $70 billion blank check for ICE—the same heavily armed, unidentified, and unaccountable agents who shot and killed Alex Jeffrey Pretti in broad daylight, abducted 5-year-old Liam Ramos, and have been disappearing our neighbors without due process across Minnesota and cities all over the country.

ICE agents are operating with zero oversight. We've witnessed countless acts of senseless violence from these out-of-control agents—and Republicans just handed them $70 billion more to keep doing it.

We're calling on voters to hold every Republican who voted YES accountable in November. More funding means more brutality, more family separations, and more deaths. It's time to vote them out.

Why is this important?

Masked, unidentified federal agents have been militarizing our cities and brutalizing our communities to carry out Trump's extreme deportation agenda. These agents—outfitted for war—are showing up at schools, workplaces, and people's homes, kidnapping and deporting our neighbors without any due process.

ICE already received $75 billion last year—nearly nine times its annual budget—with no transparency and no oversight. More than $100 billion sits unspent. There was no funding crisis. Republicans invented one, then doubled down with $70 billion more—while cutting $911 billion from Medicaid and doing nothing about groceries, healthcare, or gas prices.

Our communities deserve safety, dignity, and justice. Minnesotans showed up for Renee Nicole Good, Alex Jeffrey Pretti, Kieth Porter, and Liam Ramos. Now it's time to show up at the ballot box. Every Republican who voted yes owns every raid, every family separated, and every death that follows. We will not forget—and in November, we will vote them out.
