We need immigration policy reform that treats women and children fairly!
I am committed to ensuring that our country creates a fair immigration policy with justice and equality for all, especially for the women and children who make up three-quarters of all immigrants but whose needs are woefully ignored by our failed system.
I am committed to repairing this system to ensure a road map to citizenship for all 11 million aspiring Americans, to ensure that all families can be together, and to ensure that women's unique needs are addressed by the law.
I support the rights of all women to move in search of equal opportunity. I defend the rights of all women to live free from violence. I value all women's work and all roles that women play.
I urge you to work quickly to pass fair immigration reform now for the sake of democracy, liberty, and justice for all.

Why is this important?
Without immigration reform that treats children, women and families fairly, many of the estimated 5.5 million children who are in families with mixed immigration status live in fear of a parent being taken away from them at any moment.
