To: The Boards & CEOs of Major Non-Profits Seeking Social Justice

What's Necessary to Benefit the Common Good

For the Common Good

While there are many major non-profit organizations seeking solutions that advance social justice, which requires radical equality, in the United States and elsewhere these efforts are slowed or blocked by governments under the control of the wealthiest. Reaching goals of these organizations to improve the condition of humanity and our only planet on a strong foundation will be fully possible only after we can remove all but public money from politics.

As is well known, plutocrats/oligarchs can & do buy or corrupt our elected leaders. If this large number of organizations advocating for social justice all got behind this single idea & worked from the bottom up, they might be able to succeed. This would include killing the notion that corporations are people.

Knowing how NATO is funded, it would be a fantastic option if major social justice organizations would collectively fund this effort as a single cause with multiple approaches.  This could be an organization with a board made up of representatives from these institutions and funded by the same.  It could be called For the Common Good. (I’ve registered the domain name For-the-Commongood.org and would happily donate it.)  If successful, this would benefit all the organizations and efforts aiming at improving social justice.

The strongest and most enduring networking to build a nationwide coalition is likey best started on a person-to-person basis (virtual is good but the bonds are weaker). If so, planting the seeds across the nation at local levels and growing up from there could lead to this solution.

This would benefit with leadership from well-known and widely connected public figures to make this happen. Something like the Harris-Chaney combo, for example.

While I’m working to initiate this, at 80, I’m not seeking any active position, but simply making a suggestion based upon my 45+ years of professional experience as a psychotherapist and after significant research into the fundamental (DNA) nature of our species. (To know more about that research and my background, seehttps://davideroyphd.substack.com/p/calling-forth-our-evolved-nature.)

Sincerely,
David E. Roy, Ph.D.

Why is this important?

To make this happen, we need a strong demonstration of public support from as many people as possible.
