Work authorization for Ukrainian refugees
The Senators and the House Representatives need to pass a bill that will allow legal refugees from Ukraine who came with U4U or hold TPS status to work in the US.
Why is this important?
Refugees from Ukraine who came to the US legally need to have an opportunity to work to support their families and contribute to the US economy by paying taxes. The government of the US is refusing to renew their work authorization, forcing them to start working illegally and be on social financial assistance. This assistance doesn’t provide enough financial support, robs them of dignity to provide for their families, and prevents them from contributing to the US economy.

I will mail this petition to Senators Risch and Crapo and to Representative Mike Simpson.
