49 years too long

Grailing Brown better known as Kojo Sababu has been locked away in the Federal Bureau of Prisons for the last 49 years. A member of the B.L.A received his degree in social psychology while being locked up. Kojo won multiple awards for his leadership dedication and mentorship to younger inmates while in jail. Kojo was locked up after being in the wrong place at the wrong time over 50 years ago and has since learned his lesson and deserves to live his final days surrounded by his real family and friends. While incarcerated Kojo has defused multiple prison riots and have mentored and taught inmates who had lesser prison sentences that prison is a place that they should never come back to. We feel that 49 years has been long enough and not that Kojo’s health is declining we feel as though that him being released will have no danger to the community and he has a very strong support system who will help navigate and guide him in the community and keep him focus. They say it takes a village to raise a child and if Kojo is released we are that village.

Why is this important?

We are seeking signatures in hopes to getting Kojo released 49 years has been long enough and a lesson has been learned.
