Debate Moderators: Commit to disabling a platform for lies during the presidential debates

As preparations are made for the three scheduled presidential debates between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, Americans need to be assured this will not be another 90-minute forum for lying. We demand protocols be in place to identify lies as they are told, and continuation of the inaccurate narrative stopped/labeled - either via mic shutdown or full screen icon imposed over the speaker's face, explaining/expunging the fallacy.

Why is this important?

The chaos created by the lies being published and proliferated across various media in this country is disabling our democracy. If there is a chance at all for the 2020 election to go forward with a well-informed electorate, the lies must not be coddled into being or tolerated for another 270 minutes.
