Why is this important?

Matthew Cardon was shot and killed by police in Peoria, Arizona, on June 5th, 2025. Despite repeated requests from his family and community, authorities have not released all available footage. There are conflicting statements, missing body cam footage, and unanswered questions that demand transparency. We call on local and state leaders to release all footage, open an independent investigation, and ensure this never happens again. Matthew was a son, brother, and friend.His family—and the public—deserve the truth.

UPDATE: No Charges for the Officer Who Killed My Brother, Matthew Cardone

Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell just announced there will be no charges — not for the officer who shot my unarmed brother, Matthew Cardone, or for Sgt. Aracelly Montez, who spread the false “kidnapping” story that destroyed his name.

The only video released is heavily edited and misleading, crafted to vilify Matthew instead of showing what really happened. If there’s nothing to hide, why not release all the footage?

This cover-up worked — after a few false headlines, the story vanished. But we will not be silent.
