> Demand Full Transparency: Release All Footage in the Police Killing of Matthew Cardon

Immediately release all video and audio footage related to the police shooting of Matthew Cardon, including body cam, dash cam, surveillance, and third-party video. Launch an independent investigation and pass legislation requiring mandatory release of fatal police encounter footage within 10 days.

Why is this important?

Matthew Cardon was shot and killed by police in Peoria, Arizona, on June 5th, 2025. Despite repeated requests from his family and community, authorities have not released all available footage. There are conflicting statements, missing body cam footage, and unanswered questions that demand transparency. We call on local and state leaders to release all footage, open an independent investigation, and ensure this never happens again. Matthew was a son, brother, and friend. His family—and the public—deserve the truth.

Still no release of information from either Peoria or Glendale PDs. No press conference announcing updates. No press releases either. Why? I'll be turning this petition in, in a few days so please keep forwarding this for as many signatures as possible. Thank you!!

Thank you so much to everyone who signed this petition. Police transparency is a non-negotiable and hopefully this petition will be a catalyst that pushes for more police accountability.
