Dog Waste Stations throughout the Twin River Community

People of the Twin River community have been dealing with a sanitation issue that involves dog owners not picking up after their pets. This has not been resolved. There are dog owners that are not picking up their dog's feces to properly dispose of it, we know this because there are multiple accounts and instances where people have reported stepping in it. Also, photographs and videos of the perpetrators have been taken. As a community, we will no longer remain silent on this matter as this is a sanitation issue. With the worldwide pandemic that the state of New Jersey has faced, especially the Mercer County all precautions regarding the sanitation of our community should be met.

Because HOA costs will not be covering public amenities such as the pools and public parks we the community want and need a portion of our HOA to go toward bettering the sanitation of our community. We do not believe we should pay extra fees to resolve this sanitation issue when the Home Owners Association Fees do not meet our expectations to resolve homeowner's concerns.

Why is this important?

We are in the midst of a worldwide pandemic. This is not something the community should take lightly. With community members now enjoying the warmer weather, dog feces has created an enormous issue regarding the safety of our people. The HOA fees of $180 should be put to better use this summer, as the members of the community cannot use the public pool or parks due to COVID19. This should not even be questioned as community members must be heard to make our community safer. Homeowner's needs are not met by the excessive fees we are currently paying since public amenities are closed.

How it will be delivered

I will deliver this in person at one of the board meetings occurring this month of June.
