Every years as minimum wage goes up rideshare drivers’ pay goes down. In 2017 drivers made 80 percent of their fare. Now, in 2024, drivers make 35-40 percent of the fare on most rides. Dara Khosrowshahi, drivers ain’t dumb we know our worth!! And $5.27 for 30 mins of driving isn’t it. This is only step one of making this public.
Why is this important?
Drivers pay for their own cars, maintenance, gas/electric, and healthcare. We deserve to make more than $20 an hour before deductions.
