Essential Licensed Massage Therapy
Allow all licensed massage therapy professionals to perform a therapy service privately with one client per LMT at a time in the office starting as of May 1st, 2020. All necessary precautions and sanitation protocols approved by the State of Ohio and the local Board of Health will be followed. Our industry needs to be recognized and deemed as an essential business so we can better serve our community. Its not fair all chiropractic offices and other medical offices have LMT on staff but private offices not allowed.
Servicing one client at a time (while wearing a mask) poses little to no risk of spreading the virus, as compared to 20 or more people in a grocery store or 10 plus people at restaurants picking up food.

Why is this important?
Small and private massage practices financial hardships, clients falling behind on pain management and therapy, servicemen on frontlines need pain relief and maintenance, reducing the number of clients relying on narcotics and otc pain medications. We are Essential.
