Force Mike Braun to resign

In November of 2020, the journalist Carl Bernstein outed Indiana senator Mike Braun as one of several GOP politicians who "repeatedly expressed extreme contempt for Donald Trump and his fitness for office." Yet Mike Braun pledged to object to Joe Biden's lawful election, only changing his mind after the January 6 violent uprising that was incited by Donald Trump. Mike Braun is a cynical opportunist for attempting to steal an election for a man he knows is unfit for office. The fact that he backed down from this position after Trump's mob unsurprisingly stormed the Capitol should not be commended. He has only exposed himself as a coward for waiting until his own life was in danger to do the right thing. As Hoosiers, we cannot trust the judgment of a person who would make such reckless decisions for his personal gain at the expense of our state and country. Mike Braun is unfit to serve as senator of Indiana and we ask that he resign or be removed from office by the Indiana legislature.
