Hair Salons / One client at a time
Allow license beauty professionals in the state of Indiana to perform their services one client at a time per stylist no more than 5 in the salon at the same time as of Tuesday April 21st ,2020 All necessary precautions and sanitation protocols approved by the state, health department and board of cosmetology Which we have always followed because you have never seen an outbreak or lice, scabies or ringworm due to a stylist. We know our sanitation our industry needs to be deemed essential so we can serve our community
Servicing one client at a time wearing gloves and masked and neck strips or new capes on every client poses little or no risk of spreading virus Let’s compare this to way to many in a grocery store, hardware store or liquor store or in a Subway getting their sandwich made or all the manufacturing in our state still working and not practicing social distancing

Why is this important?
Most stylist out independent contractors with no benefits getting turned down for small business loans and help because no employees No we are SELF employed. We have been off for 4 weeks with no help and not seeing any in the near future. LET US WORK We have the same sanitation education the nurses do We have continuing education on sanitation regularly
