Hope Behind Bars

Petition for the Release of Robert Robinson

My name is Robert Robinson, and I am a 31-year-old resident of Cleveland, Ohio. For the past 14 years, I have been incarcerated, serving an 18-to-life sentence as a first-time offender. I am a son, husband, father, and so much more. At the time of my arrest, I was a young teenager in the wrong place with the wrong crowd.

During my incarceration, I have worked tirelessly to better myself. I earned my G.E.D. and am currently pursuing a degree in Business Communication and Management at Sinclair College. I have also completed numerous programs, including Thinking for a Change, Conflict Resolution, Money Smarts, Victim Awareness, and Anger Control. These programs have provided me with the tools and resources necessary to lead a productive, healthy life upon my release.

I have taken full accountability for my actions and have grown into a better version of myself. My goal is to contribute positively to my community, support my family, and use my experiences to help others avoid making the same mistakes.

This petition is not only about me but also about justice for the victim and their family. I deeply regret the pain caused and have spent years reflecting on how my actions impacted others. I am committed to living a life of integrity, responsibility, and service if given a second chance.

I am asking for your support to help me gain a favorable view in the courts. If you believe in rehabilitation, redemption, and the possibility of change, I humbly ask you to stand with me. Your support can make a difference in my journey toward freedom and my opportunity to rebuild my life.

Thank you for taking the time to read and consider my petition. I appreciate your kindness, support, and belief in second chances. May God bless you all.

Sincerely,
Robert Robinson

Why is this important?

Collective voices create power. One voice can spark a movement, but many voices can’t be ignored. The more people who rally behind my cause, the more pressure it puts on decision-makers to right a wrong. This is how real change begins. It could happen to anyone. Supporting my campaign means recognizing that no one is immune to injustice. If it were their loved one suffering, they’d want the world to care too.
