On April 21, 2024, Police Officer Carmen Mostek (Star 8664) placed my life in danger by shooting my dog in the head as I held her in my arms to separate her from Mostek's dog. After this shocking use of excessive and disproportionate force, Mostek walked away with her uninjured dog.
Mostek lacks the mental acuity to be entrusted with the ability to use deadly force and must be dismissed and separated from her gun.

Why is this important?
No one can or should feel safe in the Bridgeport community while a sociopath is armed with a gun and at large. This is especially true when the sociopath is a police officer entrusted with a City-issued firearm.
I can't undo what Mostek did to me or my dog, how she put my life in danger to kill my dog for no reason. But I am determined to see that she never hurts anyone else.
